Long story short is, I thought I have a good running nick with he tooth pick trick, but now the power band is smoother and more responsive. A big thing I didn't realize before was in deceleration and top end power. Both are smoother and with more power on top end.
I used JB weld in the air cut off diaphragm cover, that way I can put it backtrack to normal with the extra rack I have from a parts bike.
