Fat fingers

Postby chuter » Mon Jun 18, 2012 11:50 am

When I changed plugs on my '80 CB650 last year I was able to start the thread on the two inside cylinders by hand. My fingers must have gotten fat over winter so I had to pull the seat and shift the tank back so I could use my newly purchased 18mm spark plug socket to help the plugs find the holes. Right tool for right job and off we go. Pulling the seat and tank probably took a quarter of the time than trying to fiddle around with fingers. Go fig'r.

Your hands swell very easily depending on what work youve been doing and how hydrated you are.
Did you clean the tank out?!?!?!?!

I use a short piece of hose fitted over the plug to hand start the plug before switching to the wrench to tighten.
