Hey guys,
I picked up both side panels for this project bike of mine, but both of them have one stud each broken and missing. I know I could jB weld it if I had the stud, but I nont have them. Will they stay on OK with just two studs locked in, or does anyone know what I can do to secure it on the third tab also. Thank you

Works half good with two, better with three and great with a hidden cable tie to make it awesome...lol

Re: Broken studs on side panels
I seem to remember seeing a post, either here or on the sohc4 group about someone taking a round head bolt of the approximate size of the stud and epoxying it with the head up. Not tried it myself, but an idea.

I've got a fix for this. I found a nail with the same diameter of the stud. I drilled a hole half way into the side plate the same size as the nail. I ground the nail down to the stud length and, while it was still red hot from the grinder, I stuck it in the hole. It welded itself to the plastic! Worked great!

Great idea, sounds simple and effective!
