If it's broken or just needs tweaked

I installed a 7.5mm thick spacer in the rear shocks. This corresponds to about two more steps of the rear shock adjustment. Now the rear is acceptable with some luggage but still weak with a passenger.
Below a picture and a drawing of my spacer
Note that the rod of the rear shock is fixed with loctite or so. You'll have to heat it up considerably for disassemble and installation of the spacer. Another option may be a spacer with a cut.

Thanks Volker,

Basically what I would like to do is increase the load enough to handel a passenger and some luggage. I'm not really planning on carrying a lot of load but I would like to increase the load capacity by at least 100lbs. I weigh 260 and the load capacity on the bike is only like 360lbs.

Any ideas how much the 12 series shocks and springs from progressive will increase the load capacity?

Thanks
