Cutting or Chopping Rear Tail For Bobber

Postby stikky_p » Mon Sep 20, 2010 4:03 pm

Hey guys.. I just purchased my first CB650 for a project bike. I'm just wondering what the issue's/complications are with chopping the rear to get the bobber look? I'm assuming that cutting the frame is going to change some aspects about the ride and all. I want it to be safe..

Thanks
Mike

Welcome here, Mike! :D
The CB650 chassis is not that good and I would avoid making a hard tail. Modern tires will improve rideability. I think there are some bobber projects in the "show it off" section to get some inspiration.
