Newb. Rebuilding engine. What parts should I order?

I have a 1982 Honda cb650 I took apart a few years ago.

Not to sure if anyone here has a good parts site.

I'm trying to make a list of parts I should look into ordering soon:
-gaskets
-piston rings

Is there any other parts I should replace ?

And.

Anyone know what gas tank alternatives there are? I like the look of this and I don't know if that is a cb750 tank on a 1982 650. https://photos.app.goo.gl/KC84cmsE9fHR15KZ9

I would like to look into finding a gas tank I just don't know if the cb750 tank from specific years will be a direct replacement.

Dustin

Hi Dustin, it depends where you are as to the best parts site. If you are in the US then Partzilla is pretty good but if you are in the UK David Silver Spares is my go to choice. Does the motor need new rings? I wouldn't bother if it doesn't, why spend money that you don't need to. Gaskets are a must if the engine is stripped but make sure you get the correct head gasket for your engine, don't just order a complete set without checking first, ask me how I know

To me, that looks like the tank for 80-83 CB650... The 79 gas tank is more like the 750s (squared off at the back). Where are you located Dustin? I have a tank off a 1980. It needs work, but not in terrible condition.
