Hi all,
First post , hi !
Got a 650 LC , few small niggles?
My rev counter really fluctuates at highway speeds- is there a way to stop this.?
And when the bike is cold the clutch slips a bit but not consistent?
Thanks and this is a great forum- loads if good info in here.

Often the rev counter or speedo start to do this before the spindle will quit. Note that the spindles like a bit of lubrication from time to time, too.
Typically clutch slipping happens at high speed in last gear first.
If your clutch adjustment is fine, clutch slipping is probably related to oil. E.g. car oils with additives for smooth running often cause clutch slipping in a motorcycle engine with a wet clutch like ours. Warped or worn clutch plates are another option. If it is not too tough and nothing is really worn or wrong washers beneath the clutch springs may fix this issue for some time or even permanently.
