Another small update.
Been working on the bike a little bit here and there, got the revving of the engine to stop, turns out the tank just needed more air flow when the bike goes to drink.
I also fixed the problem of my “floppy float” with some new float needles and a bit of tinkering to make the floats seat properly (which actually required a few longer float needles) and stoped gas from leaking out of the bottom overflow.
So I’m finally coming up on the homestretch and I can get this bike inspected.
All that’s left is to sync the carbs, reseal the gas tank and fix a hole in the exhaust pipe.
I should be getting to all of that within the next month, and hopefully I’ll have another update for you.

Hi Maldenite and thanks for your update, it is always good to hear of a problem solved. I must confess to not seeing your excellent and informative posts myself until today but I'm glad that you are almost ready for the road.
