i don't need them yet.....but, nice job on the find!!!!
Re: overbore pistons for the 650 FOUND!
Way cool find man, I could not believe there were no oversized piston & rings sets available for the CB650's. 674cc is a good size for new bore.

Just wish they were a couple hundred bucks cheaper.
Re: overbore pistons for the 650 FOUND!
All the extras they might be worth it but rather just get the pistons and rings at a cheaper price.
Did you clean the tank out?!?!?!?!
Re: overbore pistons for the 650 FOUND!
Ya really $125 for a piston, rings, wristpin & circlips is not a bad deal. Hell I just bought a(rare) stock Hondaline 300r big bore(76.5mm) piston & rings set for my 84' 250r ATC for $180. I had $650 into the complete top end with rebuilt 34mm Keihin PE carb & full Bassani exhaust but sold it for $970 so I could buy my 81' CB650C. A good trade I would say!

Not saying they aren't worth it, but if they wer a couple hundred cheaper, I could buy a set!

You should email that guy & let him know you posted his parts here on hondacb650.com's website as I'm sure hes going to be, in time, selling some of his kits to members on the board here. He can "THANK YOU" by giving or selling you a set at a discounted price. Its what's "the right thing to do" you just got to make him believe it!

I was thinking a "how to" thread with "after" test results (g)
They also have cams for the 550 (regrinds) I can't help but wonder why they couldn't weld up a 650 cam and used that "race" 550 profile on the 650 blank. Seems to make perfect sense to me...

Re: overbore pistons for the 650 FOUND!
There you go! I believe I saw a thread on like a "German" or "Euro" 50hp cam & also a like 64hp cam as well. It show'd the differances in the lobes & think they were CB650 cams. Volker_P, cb650 or yourself would know the ones I'm talking about.
Ya a "Before & After" thread with video & audio. Get MAC/Jardine to send you a 4 ito 1 exhaust, Clubman to supply the bars, K&N the filters & then the carbs would definetly need to be re-jet & tune'd. lol

Here you find the "German cam" comparison picture.

Just use the 550 cams. Put the 650 sprocket on it and change the tach drive or go with an electronic tach.

Re: overbore pistons for the 650 FOUND!
Hope this thread ain't dead! After honing my bores, the ID expanded to just about and/or at the wear limit. What should I do?
Over sized rings or pistons?
I mapped the bores as one should, and they all measure around 2.356-2.358".
