Good bye to group

Postby old gringo » Wed Jul 04, 2012 7:40 am

After several enjoyable years with the group I am selling my pristine 81. I just purchased a Goldwing GL1200 and my wife says 2 bikes are 1 too many.
I have enjoyed the advice and fellowship and hope I might've been some assistance from time to time.

I'll be sorry to see you go, and I think I can safely speak for the rest of the group and say, we would be glad to have your advice and presence here, whether you have a 650 still or not.

I wouldn't cut all ties. Looks like you have a following here.

After I sold my VTX the owners' group state chapter members made it clear that my expertise was still wanted and needed. I still do most of my wrenching on VTXs. Makes me really miss the darn things but my budget just can't get me back there right now.
