That's good news, thanks a lot for the work!
But I doubt there is enough activity to have another CB650 related forum.
Nevertheless from the past experience one could guess that some reserve might be useful.
Let's see how it will develop.

Speaking of former cb650 forums, has anyone heard from the person known as BigJims? Is he the source of the 650 info on the site? He had built up quite a bit.

Just a thougt.

Is there any way you guys could merge these forums into one? We are not that many 650 owners around, at least not at the moment, and with two different forums running, shared info either will be double posted, or maybe not at all.

That is a good idea, Ibsen.

Being a fan of the KISS principle, I would support a joining of the forces.

Me too. That's why I never joined the SOHC forum. It's just easier to be a member in only one CB650 forum :)

Not sure how exactly we would do that -- I can gladly add another section for the old material and R1eater can post it....

I agree that I don't think there is enough activity for two CB650 sites -- but that's just my opinion.

I guess R1eater and I will need to figure it out.

Anyone have any other suggestions aside from creating new sections and reposting the material here?

I agree, for 650-specific information. However the sohc site is a fount of information on general 'fix-it' ideas that we don't discuss here. Also there are some interesting, non-motorcycle related, discussions.

I'm lucky in that I have the time to peruse both.

Oh yes, absolutely. There's plenty of good info in that forum, but I've never felt the need to join. I just visit it as a guest from time to time :)

R1eater has lots of cb650 specific information like specs and original advertisements that would be great contributions. Also, some of the tech information is detailed and helpful. There is a lot on the SOHC4 site, but it can be difficult to find and there is redundancy.

Maybe you could create a read-only "archive" section where the whole material is accessible.
This archive might be updated with interesting additions that may come from further discussions in the forum.
