1982 CB650 Z

Postby jaimiepeeters » Wed Jun 19, 2013 10:49 am

Hi guys,

I'm a newbie bike rider and a newbie to the CB adventures. As a youngster I've always loved the vintage models and recently I found my way to the CB family.

In my quest to my first bike I found this bike being sold by a true Honda CB lover, who has taken enormously great care of it and I'm about to buy it.

So I'm sorry that I am not yet an owner, but I have first option on this bike and most likely for 99,9% sure will buy this bike.

What do you think, should I go for it?

I looks really nice. If it runs ok I would buy it for sure if the price is right.
Check for oil leaks.
So I say go but only after a test ride.

Will go for a testride. The seller has elaborate documentation on how he cleaned up the engine and a lot of other elements.

He's asking 800€ unpolished and 900€ polished with 1 condition, the buyer 'needs to be a CB enthusiast'.

Welcome here! :D
If the technical status should match the visual impression, this seems a very good buy.
Don't forget to remove the brake disk lock! A good tool to kill disks.
