This might be a pretty stupid question, but what is "PB carbs"?

It seems like I'm going to have to buy a new right handlebar switch and throttle - It is cracked in two places. I don't know much about the European models, but in the US, an 81 would not have those PB carbs. Look on the steering neck and it should be there on the VIN plate. I can't find the VIN plate which leadsme to believe that it is an older model. I can however find the following frame number: RCO3 2025...
