Yea I am pretty sure my tank has been replaced. My bike is an 81 though. I just like that color. and want to match the tank to the side covers. I'll do some research as to where the codes may be found.

What year is it, 1980? I NEED that paint code if you can find it. That is the color of my side covers but I have a blue tank. Replaced I think.

I have one for a 1980 custom but you will need to confirm whether it will also work for your 81.
