The seat is suppose to have the small upflip at the very back. The cover is one of the cheaper e-bay Chinese replacements. It looks like it could use some tightening. That is fairly easy to do. I never did like the stock 81 seat (or the 80) as it tends to slide you forward into the tank. It will be ...

Re: compressor?

I have a 110 volt Campbell Hausfeld 2 horse, 125 psi and I think about 25 to 30 gal tank. It has been serving me for almost 30 years and never skipped a beat. I do the usual wrenching and some painting, texturing, body work etc. If you plan to paint consider a gravity feed gun rather than a siphon t...

Re: I need help locating an accelerator pump diaphragm

Go to Dillon Brothers Motorsports and look up the part number on their parts fiche and write it down. Then see if they can get you one. If not go to davidsilverspares.co.uk and look for it there by part number. Don't worry about ordering from the UK. He is usually way cheaper than ordering from stat...

Re: New Bike! A couple of things needed

Haynes list is by model year and for how long that model was made. It is showing the 1982 model CB650sc nighthawk still sold until Feb 1984 (in the UK). All the 84 650 nighthawks listed in the parts books have double over head cams. My point is don't go looking for parts for a 84 because you won't f...
