hi there,thought i would say hello as ive a z model,had her for 5 years now,had a few problems but not many,had to source a new caliper and some crap wiring that previous owner had done,but runs sweet,it has the rc03 engine,not done a thing to it apart from new plugs and oil every now and again

forgot to show pistons
im really a bit surprised at the state of them as i have had the bike for 4 years and would say its in good condition for a 34year old bike,i have serviced most things on the bike in that time but did not think about stripping the calipers down

thought id let people see what i found inside my calipers
not cleaned since new i would think
anyway new seals and pistons required and a good clean
i am not really surprised my brakes did not work that well
so far i have new m/cylinder
new ss brake hoses

ive had the bike for 4 years and did not check theses once as i thought hey its a 34year old bike maybe they are ment to be spongy and only just stop mekemp2368 wrote:and a few more

Pretty nice solution. Hope it is tight. Yes it seems good the next thing is while they are off the bike i think i Will change the seals etc. Having not done this before and reading the manual is there anything i should look out for? Also thinking of removing old paint and leavng them In the metal F...

having a problem with my calipiers
the thread has gone inside the calipier bleed nipple
does anyone no of a calipier that i could replace with as im finding it very hard to source a replacement
